What the payment-processing charge is
It is the cost of moving money, not a marketplace commission. It is shown on the lot page before you bid, again at checkout, and on the receipt. The exact rate is configuration backed by a versioned fee schedule, and every order records the schedule it was priced with, so an old receipt always reproduces.
What is optional
- A branded seller storefront subdomain at $19.99 per month. It is a presentation layer only and is never required to list, sell, get paid or build reputation.
- Buying a shipping label through the marketplace instead of using your own carrier account.
- Shipping insurance where a category supports it.
What we will never do
- Charge you to place a bid. Bidding-fee and penny-auction mechanics are prohibited here.
- Let a seller add an undisclosed mandatory charge after an auction closes.
- Hide a fee from an API or agent client that a human would have seen.
