Marketplace terms
This page summarises the operating rules of the marketplace. It is a product document, not legal advice, and the binding agreement is the seller agreement and user agreement you accept at registration and at seller onboarding.
Bids are binding
Placing a bid is an offer to buy at that price. Winning creates an order for the winning price plus disclosed shipping, applicable tax and the payment-processing charge. Ordinary users cannot edit or delete a bid; a retraction requires a policy reason and an admin workflow, and an immutable audit record is always retained.
Bidder requirements
A verified email, a verified phone and an active tokenized card on file are required before any bid is accepted. If a card expires or fails, bid eligibility is suspended until it is replaced. An unpaid winning order pauses bidding on the account until it is resolved.
Seller obligations
- Describe the item accurately, including condition and any faults.
- Disclose all shipping terms before the auction opens, and never add an undisclosed mandatory charge afterwards.
- Ship within the published deadline and provide verifiable tracking.
- Do not bid on your own lots, and do not arrange bids from related accounts.
- Once valid bids exist a seller cannot self-cancel an auction except for defined reasons and, where required, admin approval.
Marketplace conduct
- Do not move a transaction off the platform. Off-platform payment requests are flagged and withheld.
- Do not list prohibited items. See the prohibited items policy.
- Do not attempt to claim a category, system or protected-brand subdomain.
Money
Current Auction charges no listing fee and no marketplace final-value commission. Payment processing is a separate, disclosed charge. Refunds are idempotent and can never exceed the captured amount less prior refunds.
Suspension and enforcement
Accounts, listings, payment eligibility and payouts can be frozen independently. Enforcement decisions are recorded, appealable, and never silently rewrite history.
